Fundraising - The Thrift Shop remains our major source
of fundraising income with Gross Sales being $56,097.85 for the
eleven months to end of May. This figure is expected to be around
$61,000 for the full year to June 2001 (last calendar year sales
were $59,000) and would then constitute around 95% of our fundraising
income.
The balance of fundraising income (approx $2000) was derived from
our weekly wine raffle, our weekly lucky square raffle, sale of
Rotary Christmas cakes, Christmas cards, Entertainment books and
Emergency Medical books.
In addition to the above our Ladies auxiliary organised a Christmas
raffle which netted approx $700 (for specific designated projects).
